The Rincon de la Vieja is a mountain massif of 600 thousand years of existence, which includes nine volcanic chambers. An easy trail will lead us through a transitional forest with lush vegetation, wildlife, interesting geological formations, and volcanic activity.
Your expert guide will be explaining you all about the volcanic activity you will be watching. During our 2-hour hike, you will be able to see mud pots, boiling water pools, geysers, and mini volcanoes.
If you consider yourself a good hiker, you can ask for “La Cangreja Waterfall” hike instead of the volcanic activity. A 1:30 hour-hike through steep terrains get you to this beautiful waterfall.
