Description
Located within the Tenorio Volcano National Park, Río Celeste, or light blue river, is not only a beautiful place, but it also offers a unique experience you will not enjoy anywhere else in the world.
Our 2-hour hike will take us to the impressive 98 ft waterfall first, where you will be able to take the hero shots that characterizes this Top Costa Rica destination. During a clear day, we will also be able to see the magnificent Tenorio Volcano and its 5 inactive cones. Then, if you have enough energy left, the path will take us to the “Teñideros” where we will be able to see the exact point where the Buena Vista River and the Agria Ravine end and meet each other, being the exact same point where the water turns into its amazing light blue color.
After visiting the beautiful National Park, we will enjoy a delicious Costa Rican lunch at a mountain restaurant, followed by a relaxing hike where we will be able to see and learn about sloths, spot some famous red-eyed frogs, hummingbirds, toucans, among others.
